SAPIEN Press "Initial Public Offering" (IPO) Program
Books offered under our IPO program are unqiue:
- You're pre-purchasing either an eBook, or a bundle that includes the eBook and the physical book. If you purchase a bundle, you'll be charged shipping immediately.
- If you purchase the print/ebook bundle, you will not receive a physical (print) book at this time. The print book will be shipped automatically when the book is finished.
- The eBook will not permit printing.
- The eBook you receive will be a draft - it may be incomplete, and it may contain technical, spelling, or grammatical errors. It will contain feedback instructions so that you can use to submit corrections and suggestions directly to the author.
- We may revise the draft manuscript and re-post it at any time. The book's page here on the SAPIEN Press Web site will indicate an update; you'll use the http://my.sapien.com Web site to download the current version.
- Once the final book is released, you'll use the http://my.sapien.com Web site to download the final eBook. If you purchased a print copy, you'll receive it in the mail.
The purpose of the IPO program is twofold:
- To provide you with early access to information on the newest technologies - even those which may themselves still be under development.
- To provide you with a way of shaping the final book that you have purchased, by sending feedback to the author. This truly allows you to collaborate with the author so that the final book contains the information you need.
Okay, I paid my money - how do I participate in the IPO program?
Start by looking at your e-mail receipt: In it, you'll find a serial number, and instructions for registering it. Go to www.sapienpress.com/register to register your purchase and download the ebook. The first page of the ebook contains instructions for submitting feedback and suggestions.
